Connecticut River Eagle Festival

February 16 & 17, 2008
Thousands of people converge on the 8 towns that border the CT River, to view the nearly 100 American Bald Eagles, Brown Eagles, and Golden Eagles that migrate to the mouth of the CT River each year during the winter. The Eagles feed off of the fish in the There is a LOT to do during this whole weekend of festivities. the Epicenter of which is the CT River Museum at the end of Main Street, in Essex, CT. The CT Audubon Society sponsors this event, and there are spotting stations and scopes all along the CT River. Maps will be provided. Food, Music, Crafts, Bird watching classes, photography, and Spotting scopes.

This is simply a BIG local event. Not to be missed.
Time: Daily: 8AM to 5PM
