Enjoy an old fashioned 1920's Steam Train Ride in period Pullman Train Cars, pulled along side of the Connecticut River by early 1900 Steam Locomotive. The Dining Car offers food and drink to be enjoyed during the ride. In Deep River the train will allow you to Disembark (If combination ticket was purchased) and board the River Boat to cruise up the Connecticut River to the East Haddam Swing Bridge. An abundance of wild birds can be seen along the banks, and in the skies around the river. American Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles and Brown Eagles are frequently spotted along the shores, especially in the Winter months when the Eagles migrate to the Connecticut River to hunt fresh fish.

A combination ticket is a 2.5 hour ride

Contact the Steam train for information regarding their terrific Diner Train! A wonderful dining experience.
